Old Town Holiday Stroll

Free green waste pickup is available on regular garbage days during the weeks of Dec. 1-5 and Dec. 8-12.

Old Town will be decked out in luminarias for the 11th Annual Old Town Holiday Stroll this Friday!

Bring your family down for a stroll, and enjoy free live music, the lighting of the giant Christmas tree, and a special Santa parade!

Festivities include music and entertainment, pet adoptions, and a charity raffle benefitting Barrett Foundation.

  • Getting there: Free parking is extremely limited, so catch the Rapid Ride or Route 66 bus. Rapid Ride buses will run until 10:30 p.m. See bus schedules >>

Free Green Waste Pickup

Free green waste pickup is available on regular garbage days during the weeks of Dec. 1-5 and Dec. 8-12.

Green waste pickup is available to City of Albuquerque Solid Waste customers on regular garbage collection days during the weeks of Dec. 1-5 and Dec. 8-12.

Green waste includes yard clippings and organic materials, such as brush and leaves.

Crews will not take away dirt, gravel, or construction debris.

Collected green waste is composed and recycled. Please help with this environmental effort.
